I walked through A C Moore and Michaels a couple days ago and picked up some of their one dollar stamps. They are so cute! I can’t wait to start creating wonderful cards with them. I also put in an order for a bunch of new Amuse stamps. I can’t wait for them to come in. Hopefully they come in before the snow storm on Saturday so I can be all cozy with them. Here is the first part of my new stamps.

Happy Hump Day! For me today really was a big hump day. I had a very busy non-stop day at work and then came home and took a nice long much needed nap. This cold is taking everything out of me and leaving me so tired! I did wake up with enough energy and desire to make a card tonight. I decided that I would use the sketch from the Clean & Simple website even though it is a week old. I really like how simple the sketches are and the clean look of the cards. You will notice in the sketch they had a smaller circle centered in the second layer. I decided that I really wanted to use my two elephants with hearts so the circle needed to be much bigger. So I shifted the circle some and I really love the way it came out! Here is the sketch from the website:

I really enjoy the papers that are out this time of year because they just so happen to be of my favorite color! Can you take a wild guess of what that is?? Pink of course!! LOL I hope your Wednesdays went smoothly and just remember the week is halfway over now!

Since today is Monday I went to Mojo Mondays for their weekly sketch challenge. I thought it was super fun and a great way to use some of my new paper from the Sweet Threads collection from basic Grey. Here is the sketch.
I decided to make it a Valentine theme card for the sketch and I love the way that it came out! What do you think? Keep checking back for more challenges that I do!

So it is officially one week into the New Year, and how have I spent it? Yup sicker than sick. This awful head cold has left me with no energy this week. However it has left me with a lot of time for me to be working on new things for my blog!
Like that new blog divider. What do you think?? I have made it my new years resolution to start doing a couple challenges a week so I can get into creating often. This will also help me get outside of my usual funk and trying new things. I hope you follow me through these challenges and see what I create!

I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! I haven’t had a ton of time to do some crafting up until last weekend when I spent a whopping 13 hours straight in my craft room! I had the tree lit, Christmas movies playing and all the time in the world. It felt soooo good to be able to craft like that. It had been way to long. I ended up making 35 cards in total. My new years resolution is to get back into crafting on a regular basis, get on here more, and get my store up and running full swing! Here is a sample of the cards that I made this past weekend and I can’t wait to get starting on some new ones!!

I have not forgotten about updating my blog… I have been busy busy. Since I last wrote and started to set all of this up I have switched jobs and added a second job on. I also had major computer issues. Now everything seems to be settling down into a rhythm I can deal with. I am currently working on getting my store ready to be up and working! Hurray! Then I will be able to craft and put new items up! So looking forward to the future and all that it will bring! Hang in there with me please.

Well I have to thank my dad for all of the hard work he has done to get my new website up and running!! I’m so excited to announce PinkInkConcepts.com! This site will still include my blog, but now I can also add a store! Wahoo! I’m so excited for this new progress. Keep checking back for all of my new improvements!
